Greendale is a small, beautiful and tranquil adults-only campsite. The ideal base to explore Rutland Water, Oakham and all that this beautiful county has to offer. Our campsite has all the facilities you’ll need. We are dog-friendly, and a pleasant walk from Whissendine Village with its great (dog-friendly) pub, village shop and working windmill. Campsite Facilities
Our campsite has all you need for a great break. Hard-standing pitches, hook-up, heated shower & toilet block, free WiFi, and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We have a shop with local products and essentials, a visitor-information area with maps, guides, walks and cycle-routes. Our heated swimming pool is open over the Summer months. For a small charge of £2.00 per person per day you can use our heated pool, this helps towards the ever-increasing running costs.

Rutland is only 18 miles wide, but packed full of interesting things to do and beautiful places to visit. Make the most of Rutland Water, Oakham, Melton Mowbray, Stamford, Uppingham & our beautiful countryside and villages, or cycle & walk from the campsite.
Camping Prices
The campsite is always busy in the Summer season, please try to book early! We do have a minimum stay at busy times, but it’s always worth checking to see if we can fit you into a gap. Some of our pitches can’t accommodate larger motorhomes, caravans and tents – if you know your unit’s dimensions we’ll be able to advise you.
