The Site

For each of the last four years
the facilities have been improved. Greendale has the
advantage of being small, only fifteen pitches, yet superb
facilities with well maintained pitches. The friendly
ambience encourages many people to return time and time again!
2004 saw both the total
refurbishment of the toilet block, which is kept very clean, and
solar panels fitted to heat the swimming pool.
We
do not charge for showers and offer extras such as, on Sunday, a
cooked breakfast. Our tourist information is extensive and we have
a library with a good range of fiction. You can even make yourself
a cup of tea or coffee whilst you are browsing.
The
small shop covers basic produce and has built a reputation for
superb dry cure bacon & local free-range eggs. Other items to
watch for are village flour, honey, preserves and chutneys.
