Booking News and Availability
The campsite is now closed to tourers for the
winter. No telephone bookings are accepted until March 5th for the
2008 season. However bookings of 6 days, or longer, are accepted by
email.
The park will re-open partially in April 2008 &
fully in May.
Please note that we are not open for Easter.
Email bookings open on 16th February and
Telephone bookings from 17th March 2008
At Greendale we have only 13/15 pitches and we never
overcrowd. Our unique site is extremely popular with visitors to
Rutland looking for a quiet, clean, well managed site in a rural
setting. As a result demand for pitches, particularly at weekends,
far exceeds the numbers available.

Priority is
consequently given to longer stays & midweek bookings. A couple
of weekend pitches may be made available to regulars in advance;
otherwise weekend pitches are not released until nearer the date.
We will take names in
reserve & can find you a pitch on another site if you are
unsuccessful with us.

SEPTEMBER
Occasional individual days in the first two weeks - Sunday 9th, Mon
10th & Wed 12th. A 3 day space from the 11th & another 3 day from
the 12th. Otherwise no
longer spaces until the 16th [one from the 15th]. Contact us
for more details.

FOR THE WINTER!
* Last year many of our
pitches didn’t get a single gap for over three months. Before
opening this season we could have booked out every weekend for the
year but that would have blocked many of our longer stay visitors.
Consequently we have had to adopt a different booking procedure to
enable more people to enjoy camping or caravanning at
Greendale.
We also operate
a last minute list. Request to be put on this list & give us your
email address & type of outfit. We will contact you if a space is
available, a few days before.
